Basketball Hoop Outdoor Pro
The hoop that grows with the whole family: 135–305 cm adjustable in seconds, weatherproof all year round.
An outdoor basketball hoop is judged by a single question: does the height suit the person standing beneath it? If the rim hangs too high, the first shots land wide instead of in the net — and after two weeks the stand sits unused against the garage wall. The official competition rim height of 305 cm only makes sense from adolescence onwards.
That is why the three VALENESS stands are grouped by height range rather than by age: the children's stand covers 150 to 210 cm and is approved from three years of age. The youth stand covers 147 to 260 cm — precisely the years in which body height and technique change fastest. The pro stand ranges from 135 cm up to the full NBA height of 305 cm, accompanying the whole journey from the first shot to the dunk.
The second point is stability. All three models stand on a fillable base. Water is sufficient in summer and is quickly filled in; sand weighs more, does not freeze in winter and is the better choice if the stand stays outdoors permanently.
The third point is the material, and this is what decides whether a hoop lasts one season or five. The backboards are made of UV-resistant polycarbonate, which does not yellow or become brittle under sunlight. Everything is bolted with stainless steel rather than galvanised steel — the bolts are the point at which inexpensive stands start to rust after the first winter.
All models are tested to EN 71, come with a ball, pump and spare net, and are assembled in 30 to 45 minutes.
Which rim height suits which age, and what matters for stability and materials, is explained in our guide to basketball stands.

The hoop that grows with the whole family: 135–305 cm adjustable in seconds, weatherproof all year round.

For teenagers training seriously: 147–260 cm rim height, reinforced backboard, built for all weather.

The way in for the little ones: 150–210 cm rim height, tip-resistant fillable base, assembled in minutes.
The three outdoor stands differ above all in rim height. What matters is how old the players are today — and how long the hoop should keep growing with them.
Not sure? The Pro stand covers every age group at 135–305 cm and still fits once the children have grown. Write to us at info@valeness.com — the owner answers personally.
As a rule of thumb: roughly 30 to 50 cm above the player's reach height. For the first years from age three, the 150–210 cm range is sufficient; for primary school and early adolescence, 147–260 cm is a good fit; and from around the age of twelve the range up to 305 cm is worthwhile, because it allows training at official height.
Water is more convenient — attach the hose, done, and drain it again when you want to move the stand. Sand weighs considerably more for the same volume and does not freeze. If you leave the stand outdoors over the winter, use sand or drain the water before the first frost.
Yes. The backboard, rim and bolts are designed for it. If filled with water, the base must be emptied before the frost, otherwise the ice can split it. Thanks to the integrated wheels, the stand can be moved by one person.
About 30 minutes for the children's stand and around 45 for the pro model. Tools and instructions are included; with two people it is noticeably quicker than on your own.
